Daniela Stamatoiu, md
Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist
Dr. Daniela Stamatoiu is the founder and owner of Paramount Health Directions & TMS of Cherry Creek, as well as a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults. She graduated from medical school at the age of 24, from the University of Medicine and Pharmacology in Bucharest, Romania before moving to the U.S. and completing a Psychiatric Residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. Dr. Stamatoiu trained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Denver, Colorado. She began her medical career in mental health at the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo, and later joined the Psychiatric team at the Children's Hospital. Her responsibilities included evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with a variety of mental health issues.
Her prior academic involvement includes instructing students in Child Psychotherapy Techniques and mentoring within the Child Psychiatry Fellowship at UCHSC, Denver, as well as teaching Medication Intervention for Children in the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program at the Psychoanalytic Institute.
Dr. Stamatoiu has extensive knowledge and clinical experience with a vast array of psychiatric diagnoses: mood and anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, attention deficit/executive function disorders, pervasive development disorders, personality disorders, and psychological aspects related to couples and family dysfunction. She often provides consultation services to colleagues in the community around difficult, complex cases.
Dr. Stamatoiu started her private practice in the Denver area in 2000. Aside from providing the best mental health care for her patients, Dr. Stamatoiu consulted for various local organizations, including Arapahoe House, the Denver Children's Home, Jewish Family Services, and private and public schools in the community. She maintains an active relationship with specialists in the field. Her collaborations keep our work relevant and up to speed with the pulse of scientific progress.
In addition to being the president of PHD and a Mental Health Corporation of Denver board member, Dr. Stamatoiu is the mother of two daughters and has lived in Colorado with her family for twenty years.
Stacie Wilcox, lpcc
licensed therapist & certified TMS technician
Early in her career, Stacie began working with youth, engaging in tutoring programs, volunteering for mental health treatment agencies, and carrying out research focusing on at-risk youth populations. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Following graduation, Stacie moved to Colorado, where she served as a counselor for eight years at The Denver Children's Home. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and served as a corporate trainer educating other organizations about these treatment modalities.
As a counselor, Stacie has experience working with individuals with a variety of psychological issues including developmental disorders, depression, PTSD, personality and attachment disorders, psychosis, and anxiety.
Claudia Stamatoiu, BS

Claudia is Paramount’s newest TMS treatment technician. In 2018, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina, majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Psychology. She has been interested in psychology and psychiatric ailments for many years and has extensive clinical experience working with the patients of Paramount Health Directions.
Claudia has filled many essential roles at PHD, from office aid, to clinical intern, and now to TMS provider. Claudia has loved comforting and caring for Paramount’s many long-term patients, getting to know their lives through many lenses.
She hopes to broaden her understanding of psychology and psychiatry, and plans to ultimately earn a degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in order to continue her commitment to this field.
